I’m Jason Kotzur, founder of MBA Scapes. I served 8 years on active duty in the U.S. Army and was medically retired as a Staff Sergeant. During my time in the military, I deployed three times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, and was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge and Purple Heart.

After leaving the military, I completed my Accounting degree at The University of Texas at El Paso and later earned my MBA from The Ohio State University.

While I am not a Denver native, my family has deep ties to the area. My spouse graduated from South High School, and we share a real love and appreciation for Denver, the Front Range, and the communities that make this region home.

I am an accountant and finance professional by trade, with over a decade of experience across accounting, finance, private equity, and construction-related industries. Over time, I saw a need for outdoor maintenance that is more organized, more transparent, and more accountable to the customer.

MBA Scapes was built to do things differently. I will not claim to be the cheapest option, and that is not the goal. What I will stand behind is transparent communication, documented service, and quality assurance.

My goal is simple: do the work right, keep customers informed, and treat every property with pride. If I do those three things correctly, I hope to repeatedly earn your trust and future business.

The buckeye leaf in the MBA Scapes logo is personal. It represents my connection to The Ohio State University, but also pride, growth, and the standard I want MBA Scapes to stand for. To me, the brand brings together professional business discipline and hands-on property care.
